Liver Detox and Immune Boosting Bars

Makes 8 Bars.


1 1/2 cups whole organic gluten free oats

1 tbsp wheatgrass powder

1/2 tbsp turmeric powder

2 tbsp cashew nuts

2 tbsp pumpkin seeds

1 1/2 tbsp sunflower seeds

1 tbsp flaxseed powder

2 Handfuls unsulphured apricots

2 tbsp rap seed oil

1 tbsp vanilla essence (optional)

1 tsp cinnamon powder

1 ripe banana



Garnish

1-2 tbsp pumpkin seeds


Method:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor and coarsley blend until the mixture is well combined. Taste and adjust the flavours as per taste.

  2. In a baking tray 7 inch by 7 inch with parchment paper, add the mixture.

  3. Spread the mixture and garnish with pumpkin seeds

  4. Leave the tray in the fridge for up to an hour.

  5. Remove the tray from the fridge and cut into the bars just before serving.

Store in the fridge upto a week and have a bar a day.
